Arrests
Nov. 21:
Cara M. Montgomery, 47, Taylorville, was arrested on an active warrant for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and obstruction of justice.
Nov. 23:
Charles R. Warren, 30, Taylorville, was arrested on an active warrant.
Kaylene S. Reber, 33, Taylorville was arrested for retail theft.
Nov. 28:
A female juvenile, 17, Mt. Auburn, was arrested for retail theft.

Nov. 22:
Jeremy Stark, 42, of Pana, was arrested by Pana police on a warrant for aggravated battery.
Brandon Stone, 30, of Pana, was arrested by Pana police on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Dylan Cline, 23, of Assumption, was arrested by deputies for domestic battery.
Nov. 24:
Austin Mayes, 25, of Taylorville, was arrested by Edinburg police for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and resisting/obstructing an officer.
Nov. 25:
Nicholas Rudolph, 71, of Machesney Park, was arrested by Illinois State Police for possession and intent to deliver cannabis.
Accidents
Nov. 19:
A vehicle driven by Amanda Fiaoni, no age or address given, was traveling north on County 1 in Greenwood Township when it struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Nov. 21:
Richard Leathers, no age or address given, was traveling south on Illinois Route 48 in Taylorville when it struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Donald Kloever, no age or address given, was traveling westbound on 250N Road when it failed to yield to make a right hand turn on 2600E Road. It went off the roadway to the northwest, struck a tree and came to a stop. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Kloever was taken to hospital.
Nov. 22:
Vehicles driven by Joshua Becker and Max Mosley, no ages or addresses given, were involved in an accident in Rosamond township. The Becker vehicle was traveling north on 2000E Road and proceeded through the intersection with 350N Road. The Mosley vehicle was traveling east on 350E Road. Becker had a stop at the intersection, but failed to yield to Mosley. As a result, the vehicles collided. No injuries were reported. Mosley’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Nov. 24:
A vehicle driven by William Mizeur, no age or address given, was traveling southeast on Illinois Route 29 in Locust Township when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injures were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Nov. 26:
A vehicle driven by Erin Creamer, no age or address given, was turning west on 900N Road from Illinois Route 29 when she missed the turn. The vehicle was found facing north at the bottom of a deep ditch. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
