Jill Annette Trelz-Durbin of Nokomis Ill., passed away suddenly Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
Jill was born in Pana, Ill., to Dixie Ballard Trelz and Howard Trelz, of Pana.
Jill grew up in Nokomis, Ill., with her grandmother Gladys Ballard after the passing of Jill’s mother.
Jill attended Nokomis schools. Jill had a love and passion for music, horses, and her family and friends. Jill married Larry Durbin and later divorced.
She is survived by her daughter Annissa Trelz – Achenbach and husband, Phil Achenbach; grandchildren Wyatt and Alissa Achenbach, brother Tracy Trelz and JoAnn Trelz; sisters Diana Grimmett, Lori Trelz, Ann Mantell Bethard; brother-in-law Roger Morris, along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, step-mother Helen Mantell, sister Lisa Morris.
Memorials can be made in Jill’s memory to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, or to any charity in Jill’s memory.
Per Jill’s wishes, cremation service and a private family internment and graveside service will be held at a later date in Nokomis, Ill.
