Tornadoes secure Conolsation Championship

NORMAL — The Taylorville girls basketball team took home the Consolation Championship last week at the State Farm Holiday Classic. The team was defeated on the first day by Plainfield North, 63-40. The loss lit a fire under the girls who won the next two games (Bloomington: 54-45, Normal West: 50-39) to earn a spot in the Consolation Championship. The Tornadoes defeated Wheton Warrenville South by a final score of 43-26.
