Information sought in local burglary
TAYLORVILLE — This week Crimestoppers is seeking information in regards to a burglary and criminal damage that occurred in Taylorville.
Sometime between January 27, 2023 and January 28, 2023, person or persons unknown made entry into a residence located at #16 Valleyview Trailer Court.
While inside, the unknown subject or subjects turned on every faucet in the residence and also blocked the drains. This led to the flooding throughout the trailer. No damage appeared to have been done while making entry. The total dollar amount of the damage is estimated at over $10,000.
