DECATUR — Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Brandi Binkley joined the LLCU team as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Binkley will serve as a vital member of the LLCU executive management team, overseeing the design & implementation of LLCU’s human resources strategies. Initiatives under her purview include HR administration, Training & Development, Culture Enhancement, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI).
“Over the last few years, LLCU has grown exponentially, not only in the number of branches and members but also in the number of employees,” stated Robert Ares, LLCU President & CEO. “Our human resource here at LLCU is our most vital resource, and I am very excited to have Brandi lead our efforts of better developing and nurturing that resource. She brings extensive experience and, more importantly, compassion to the role, which will undoubtedly enhance our employee experience and culture.”
Binkley possesses experience in human resource strategy and administration with significant emphasis on talent acquisition, labor law compliance, succession planning, and employee development. Binkley holds a Master of Public Administration from Hodges University in Naples, FL. She is also a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). Before joining LLCU, Binkley served as the Public Health Administrator for Macon County Health Department (MCHD) in Decatur, IL, since 2019. Before that role, she served as the Chief Human Resource Officer and Director of Human Resources at MCHD.

Binkley will oversee human resource administration and strategy for all LLCU personnel throughout central Illinois’s 28-county LLCU service area. Her office is located at 4850 E. Prosperity Place in Decatur.
