Commander Joe Bird says the woman was walking toward an arriving train when the man stopped her, pushed her and then stabbed her multiple times. The victim ran down stairs and collapsed at street level. Investigators were looking at security video. No arrests were reported.

“As the woman walks towards an arriving train, the offender stops the victim from boarding. … The offender pushes her multiple times, pulls out a metal object stabbing the victim repeatedly,” said Commander Joe Bird, who oversees public transit police.
The woman “ran to the street level where she collapsed,” Bird said.
