The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals will be conducting a Public Hearing that will be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. In the County Board Meeting Room, Second floor of the Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville Illinois.
The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals to review a text amendment application from the Christian County Board would like to have added under General Provisions 1-3-17. DC Transmission Lines – All DC transmission lines will be insulated and buried at a safe depth underground. Insulation and burial specifications will be approved by a third party engineer. The third party engineer will be hired and approved by the Christian County Board at the expense of the applicant. In addition, all easements will be approved by the Drainage Districts prior to construction.
The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals to review a special use permit application from Fork River Community Solar. The two parcels that are included in the special use permit are Parcel 1: Taylorville 17-12-11-400-002-04 Cascade Rd, Rochester, IL 62563 and Parcel 2: South Fork, 15-12-14-200-002-00, 9498 Cascade Rd, Rochester, IL 62563.
The Christian County Zoning Board of Appeals to review a special use permit application from Central Commodity. The parcel proposed for this permit is: Part of section 16, in township 13 north, range 3 west.
