Court appearances
Published Court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Paisley from the fourth Judicial Circuit presided over the following cases, which were heard March 21, 2023.
Diamond D. Momoh, 22CF68. (Two count of criminal damage to property in an amount around $500; aggravated domestic battery causing great bodily harm.) A preliminary hearing was conducted today. The next hearing will be a bond hearing on March 24. 2023.
Bradley R. Grumadas, 20CF325. (Retail theft of display merchandise in an amount greater than $300.) A public defender was appointed and the next hearing will be on March 24, 2023.
William J. Davis, 22CF40. (Possession of meth in an amount less than five grams.) The negotiated plea was forwarded to April 25, 2023.
Charles T. Rice, 22CF24 (Possession of meth in an amount under five grams.) pretrial was held today and the final pre-trial will be on May 23, 2023. The jury trial will be on June 5, 2023.
Justin R. Sherman, 21CF309, 21CF328. (Theft with intent to control property worth between $500 to $10k; aggravated battery of a victim over the age of sixty.) A status hearing was conducted and the next hearing is on March 28, 2023 at 11 a.m.
Matthew T. Morrissey, 21CF259, 23CF35, 21CF340, 23CF38. (Receive possess or sell a stolen vehicle; resist a peace officer, corrections employee or fire fighter; theft of display merchandise that costs less than $300; delivery of five or fewer grams of meth; three counts of possession of five or fewer grams of meth.) A status hearing was conducted and the pretrial will be on March 28. 2023.
