70th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Nation of Taylorville will be celebrating their 70th anniversary on April 4, 2023.

Jacquelyn Keiser and Roscoe Nation were married on April 4, 1953, in Stonington Illinois at the Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Max Weir officiating.

Their attendants were Kenneth Nation, brother of the groom, and Juanita Nation, sister-in-law of the bride.

Parents of the couple were William and Corah Nation and Tom Keiser and Mabel Walters.

They are the parents of two children, who include Doug Nation of Hamilton Montana, and Brad Nation of Morrisonville, Illinois. They also have two grandchildren. The couple has one great-grandchild.

Jacquelyn is a housewife while Roscoe works as a farmer. There is no formal celebration planned.
