Published Court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Paisley from the fourth Judicial Circuit presided over the following cases, which were heard May 9, 2023.
Tylour S. Howard, 23CF6. (Aggravated battery with a arm with fire.) The defendant waved right to the preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea. The next hearing is on June 20, 2023.
Austin L. Mayes, 21CF252, 22CF228, 23CF5. (Two counts for aggravated battery of a peace officer; attempt to disarm a peace officer or corrections employee; home invasion causing an injury; two counts of domestic battery and making contact with two previous convictions.) A status update was provided to the court and the next hearing is on May 15, 2023.
Leroy D. Casson, 22CF22. (Possession of meth in an amount under five grams.) The final pre-trial is set for July 25, 2023 at 1:15 p.m. The Jury trial was scheduled for August 7, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.
Andrew M. Mc Donald, 21CF34. (Four counts of delivering five or less grams of meth.) The final pre-trial is scheduled for September 19, 2023 1:15 p.m. and Jury trial October 2, 2023 8:30 a.m.
Justin L. Price, 17CF196. (Possession amount of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia.) Pre-trial was continued to July 17, 2023.
William A. Steinkuehler, 22CF207. (Aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child who was five years of age or older.) The final pretrial will be held on Oct 24, 2023 1:15 and Jury trial is set for November 6, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.
Mitchell R. Neece, 22CF262, 23CF72. (Domestic battery causing bodily harm with two or more previous convictions.) The preliminary hearing was held today, finding probable cause for the charges. The final pretrial was set for May 15, 2023.
Juan L. Starks, 22CF150. (Two counts for the theft of $300 or less in display merchandise.) The pre-trial was continued to July 17, 2023.
