Court appearances
Published Court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Paisley from the fourth Judicial Circuit presided over the following cases, which were heard June 1, 2023.
Frank K. Sedlock, 18CF331, 23CF52. (aggravated driving while under the influence, causing an accident and bodily harm; driving while under the influence of a drug; using force to start mod actions with two or more people involved.) The defendant waved their right to the preliminary hearing. July 13, 2023 is the next pre-trial hearing.
Jeremy T. Stark, 22CF201. (Two counts for aggravated battery in a public place; criminal damage in an amount ranging between $10l-$100k.) A status on furlough was provided and the next hearing is scheduled for June 29, 2023.
Louquaris J. Sullivan, 23CF99. (Aggravated battery of a peace officer.) The first appearance was held today and the public defender was appointed. Bond was set $10,000 and the next hearing is scheduled for preliminary hearing on June 20, 2023.
Ricky A. Painter, 19CF385, 20CF69, 20CF127. (Possession amount of a controlled substance; theft in an amount greater than $500 and less than $10k; two counts of burglary; resisting a peace officer, corrections employee, or firefighter causing injury.) A plea hearing was set for August 14, 2023.
Cale R. Sexson, 20CF310. (Aggravated battery of a merchant; theft of $300 worth of merchandise with a previous conviction.) A status up was provided and the sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 31, 2023 at 1:15 p.m.
Billie L. Sheehy, 22CF139. (Possessing five or fewer grams of meth.) The plea hearing has been forwarded to August 15, 2023.
Skye A. Halleman, 21CF114, 22CF247. (Two counts for possession of five or less grams of meth.) First appearance with council was scheduled for August 14, 2023
Trisha N. Weakley, 21CF119. (Possession of five or fewer grams of meth.) A negotiated plea agreement was entered today and there was not further court hearings set.
