May 31:
William T. Tilton, 50, Taylorville, was arrested for indecent exposure.

Lee A. Clark, 57, Springfield, was arrested for retail theft.

Louquaris J. Sullivan, 20, Taylorville, was arrested for illegal consumption and aggravated battery.

June 2:
Karson Bailey, 18, Pawnee, was arrested by Morrisonville police for illegal possession/transportation of alcohol.

June 3:
Renee Middleton, 30, Witt, was arrested by deputies for DUI.

Accidents
May 26:
Vehicles driven by Ryan Rauch and Nicole Shewmaker, no ages or addresses provided, were involved in a traffic accident in Prairieton township. The Rauch vehicle was northbound on Route 51 pulling a trailer loaded with square bales of straw. The Shewmaker vehicle was also northbound when multiple bales fell off the trailer onto the roadway. Shewmaker’s vehicle hit a bale, causing damage to the front of her vehicle. There were no injuries reported and the vehicles were driven from the scene.

A vehicle driven by Kamryn Shinn, no age or address provided, was northbound on 1400E Road in rural Taylorville. Shinn’s vehicle failed to negotiate the curve back to the west at 1150N Road. It left the roadway on the north side of the road, causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Shinn was taken to the hospital and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

May 28:
A vehicle driven by Whitney Stinson, no age or address provided, was traveling on 1575E 900N Road in Johnson Township when it struck a deer in the roadway. There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
