Published Court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Paisley from the fourth Judicial Circuit presided over the following cases, which were heard June 6, 2023.
Thomas D. Toolate, 20CF1. (Aggravated domestic battery involving a strangle; domestic battery while making contact with one or more previous convictions.) The sentencing hearing was held this morning and determined three years in the department of corrections and four years of probation. The defendant will server half the time and has credit for time already served, 990 days. This sentence will be served congruent with the current prison sentence he is currently serving in another county. The remaining fines are waved. There are no further hearings set for this defendant at this time.
Drakeem L. Manning, 23CF83. (Two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer; criminal damage to property in an amount between $500 to $10k.) A status hearing regarding the previous grant for furlough was heard and a additional status hearing will be held on June 12, 2023.
