Debra Broccardo and Gary McConnell are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 7, 2023. Broccardo and McConnell were wed on July 7, 1973 at 4 p.m. at the Midland United Methodist Church in Kincaid, Illinois. The ceremony was conducted by Pastors Lester and Fines Main. The Maid of Honor was Linda Combs and the Best Man was Danny McConnell. The couple have three children, Jeffrey (wife Dani) of Las Vega, Nevada, Quentin (wife Christine) of Kincaid, Illinois, and Leslie (husband Paul) of Springfield, Illinois. They have four grandchildren, Beau and Jake McConnell of Taylorville and Nola and Edison Kmett of Springfield. A celebration will be planned at a later date.
