Community Action Team arrests seven locals on meth charges

TAYLORVILLE — The community action team (CAT) started an investigation a few months ago regarding methamphetamine sales. The CAT and ERT team members reviewed the operational plans to conduct arrests and a search warrant.
The following were arrested:
Michael L. Droke, Edinburg, for Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, and Aggravated Assault to a Peace Officer using Motor Vehicle, obstructing justice, possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Criminal Damage to State Supported Property.
Bill J. Ward, Pana, possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver, obstructing justice.
Caleb Reber, Taylorville, for Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Anthony M. Holmes, Taylorville, for Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Aubrey Smith, Taylorville, for Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Brian Daily, Taylorville, for possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
Ashley Rynders, for possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
No police officers were hurt during this operation and that the arrested subjects were not injured. The CAT team is made up of officers from Taylorville, Kincaid, Morrisonville, Edinburg, Stonington, and Assumption.
This investigation is still ongoing. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
