Celebration Community Church in Pana is presenting a series of Senior Seminars covering topics of importance to seniors citizens. The first seminar will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 2:00 p.m. in Celebration Community Church, corner of West Fourth and South Clark Streets in Pana.
The first presenters will be representatives from Pana Community Hospital covering all the services they offer to seniors.
Other seminars to be offered include: Oct. 17, Funeral Homes: costs, procedures, pre-pay, cremation, etc., Dave Kennedy and Brenda Parker; Investments: trusts, annuities, stocks, bonds, and other tools, Ben Moore;
Nov. 21: Senior Solutions: depression, anxiety, grief, etc: Amy Graham, Veteran’s Administration: Available services, medical, mental, assistance: Chad Rhodes;
Dec. 19: Nursing Homes: costs, help, Medicare and Medicaid, etc., Carl Portz, Pana Health and Rehabilitation; Ana Cooper, Prairie Rose;
Jan. 16, 2024: Social Security: Christian Hammond, SS specialist working with insurance and investments companies, will discuss all topics related to Social Security.
