Court appearances
Published Court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Paisley from the fourth Judicial Circuit presided over the following cases, which were heard September 28, 2023.
Joshua E. Bain, 21CF333. (Two counts for delivery of five or less grams of meth with one count dismissed by motion of the state.) A status update was provided and pre-trial is scheduled for October 26, 2023.
Wyatt L. Batty, 19CF396. (Criminal trespassing of a residence while a person was present/ two year on second chance probation and thirty hours of community service.) A petition to revoke probation hearing was held today. Probation was revoked and the defendant was ordered to pay the remaining fees related to the case. The defendant was ordered to pay or appear by January 10, 2023.
Aaron Davis, 23CF33. (Theft with intent to control property worth between $500 to 10k.) A status update was provided and pre-trial was scheduled for November 30, 2023.
Jacob B. Melton, 22CF257. (Theft of display merchandise in an amount less than $300 with a previous conviction.) The defendant waved their right to the preliminary hearing. The next hearing is schooled for pre-trial on November 30, 2023.
