(PANA) — Pana Community Hospital will host a Community Blood Drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals. The blood drive will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8 at Pana First United Methodist Church, inside the Fellowship Hall.
To donate, contact Melissa Rybolt at (217) 562-6379 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 60036 to locate the drive. Donors may also call ImpactLife to schedule at 800-747-5401. Appointments are requested.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call ImpactLife at (800) 747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before Sept. 13, 2023 are eligible to give at this drive.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
ImpactLife is the exclusive provider of blood and blood components to Pana Community Hospital and Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
All donors will receive an ImpactLife Promo Voucher for either an EGift Card-Target, Amazon, Olive Garden etc. or use bonus points for an ImpactLife fall sweatshirt in the online donor store.
