(PANA) — A celebration of the season will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. nightly, at the Latonis Train Village, corner of Main and Oak in Pana. Halloween at the Tower will feature treats of all kinds for children and adults as well.
Each night, there will be cookies and punch, candy, train rides for the kids (courtesy of the Old Tyme Collectors Club barrel train), tours of the caboose and a Halloween-featured display on the railroad layout inside the tower.
New this year, popcorn will be available for those attending each night.
On Sunday evening, while they last, grilled hot dogs and chips will be given away while they last in addition to the other afore-mentioned treats.
All of this is free of charge and open to the public. Tom Latonis, proprietor of the Train Village, says the weekend of activities is to show off the work which has been completed at the site and to thank those who have helped in the preservation of this Pana landmark.
