Arrests
Oct. 26:
Mackenzie Stork, 44, Decatur, was arrested by Stonington police for improper use of registration/title.
Oct. 30:
Jacob Durbin, 35, Morrisonville was arrested by Morrisonville police for driving on suspended/revoked license.
Accidents
Oct. 24:
A vehicle driven by Melissa Kimbro, no age or address reported, was westbound on 300N Road in Greenwood Township and tried to avoid hitting a deer that ran into the roadway around 1225E Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
Oct. 26:
A vehicle driven by Cody Crites, no age or address reported, was northbound on 850E Road at approximately 1350N when the vehicle left the roadway, slid down an embankment and struck a tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Vehicles driven by Sierra Willis, Daniel Brookens, Eric Iceogle and Paige Hall, no ages or addresses reported, were involved in a traffic crash in Pana Township. The Brookens, Icenogle and Hall vehicles were slowed / stopped for the traffic light in the construction zone on Illinois Route 29 at 519N. The Willis vehicle struck the Brokens vehicle in the rear, pushing it into the rear of Icenogle’s. Icenogle’s vehicle then struck
the rear of Hall’s. All units were able to drive from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Oct. 27:
A vehicle driven by Charnyl McFarland, no age or address reported, was northbound on US Route 51 at 1600N Road. The driver said she lost control of the vehicle due to the road being wet and collided with the ditch in the median and the vehicle
sustained damage to its front and rear but was able to be driven from the scene. No Injuries were reported.
