MOWEAQUA — State FFA Officers visit the Central A&M Introduction to Agriculture classes. On Tuesday, October 17th, the State FFA Treasurer, Benjamin Bremmer, and Section 16 President Samantha Hazelwonder, as well as the Section 16 Vice-President Shelby Miller and Section 16 Reporter Gehrig Bunselmeyer visited the Introduction to Agriculture classes at Central A&M High School. During their visit with the 1st year FFA members, they discussed core values, the parts of an Ag Ed program through a breakout box activity, and setting goals. At the end of the presentation, FFA members were given goal cards to write their goals on and keep with them to reflect on. The FFA members enjoyed what the officers had to say and are excited to see what agriculture and FFA have in store for them. This was an extra special visit as our students were able to see their fellow Central A&M FFA members and chapter reporters, Samantha Hazelwonder doing what she loves, promoting agriculture and FFA as the section president.
