TAYLORVILLE—Lynn Durham, an organizer of the event and staff member, talks to the Taylorville VFW members before the annual Veterans Day Breakfast ceremonies began Monday morning at the Taylorville Jr. High School. The breakfast has been hosted for three years, and this year has had roughly 100 people in attendance, the largest turnout the event has seen so far. Durham said they started hosting the event because they thought it was important to recognize veterans in the community.
