This Request for Proposals from Lee County (dba Lee Ogle Transportation System) is officially seeking Proposals from qualified Independent Certified Public Accountants. Lee County/LOTS desires to choose the best qualified Independent Certified Public Accounting Firm in accordance with the requirements contained in the Request for Proposals. Lee Ogle Transportation System (LOTS), serves the north central Illinois counties of Lee and Ogle Counties.
The Request for Proposals Package, including documentation required of responding Installation Companies, is available via email (procurement@lotsil.org) or the Lee County web site, www.leecountyil.com.
In order for an RFP response to be considered it must be submitted to Lee Ogle Transportation System at 210 East Progress Drive in Dixon, Illinois by no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday December 20th, 2023 at which time respondents to this request will be recorded. There will be no public opening of the proposals. Late RFP responses to this request will not be considered nor opened, and will be returned unopened to the responding installation companies.
Independent Certified Public Accounting Firms are advised to read the entire Request for Proposals, noting all requirements, and to complete all sections of the RFP. Failure to provide all requested information may cause the proposal to be considered unresponsive.
The RFP must be signed by an authorized official of the qualified Independent Certified Public Accounting Firm and submitted in a sealed envelope or other sealed container and labeled with the Request for Proposals Title as stated above.
This request does not commit Lee County/LOTS to award nor pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the RFPs by any submitter nor to contract for any services. Lee County/LOTS reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs received, or to cancel in part or in its entirety the Request, if it becomes in the best interest of Lee County/LOTS to do so.
