The building located on the following described property is open and vacant and constitutes an immediate and continuing hazard to the Taylorville community.

If the owners of record fail to demolish, repair, or enclose this building in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Taylorville City Code, and fail to remove all garbage, debris, and other hazardous, noixous, or unhealthy substances or materials from this property within 30 consecutive days following the mailing of a Notice to Remediate to the owner and lienholder of record, or within 30 days of the last day of publication in the Breeze-Courier of this City of Taylorville Notice, whichever is later, then it is the intent of the corporate authorities of the City of Taylorville, IL, a municipal corporation, to exercise its statutory power to demolish and/or repair and/or enclose the aforesaid building and to remove all garbage, debris, and other hazardous, noxious, or unhealthy substances or materials from the aforesaid property within a 120-day period following the date of the mailing of such Notice to Remediate to the owners and lienholders of record concerning the aforesaid property.
