TJHS secures 7th Grade Regional Championship

TAYLORVILLE — Taylorville Jr. High had the privilege of hosting the 2023 Class 7-4A Regional Tournament for 7th Grade girls basketball on Nov. 11, 13 and the concluding Championship game Monday, Nov. 14.
The Tornadoes swept through defeating Charleston (43-7) and Rochester (30-15) to advance to the Regional Championship matchup against Mt. Zion. It was the Purple and Gold host who came out on top, 22-18.
