Vehicles driven by Beth Binkley and Hannah Brown, no ages or addresses reported, collided in Mosquito Township. The Binkley vehicle was northbound on 2000E Road at 2400N. The Brown vehicle was westbound on 2400N Road and approaching the intersection with 2000East. The Binkley vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign and crossed in front of the Brown vehicle. There was front end damage to the Brown vehicle, which hit the passenger side of the Binkley vehicle, which came to rest on the driver’s side in a deep ditch on the northwest side of the intersection. Brown’s also came to rest in the ditch on the northwest side of the intersection and was tipped to the passenger side about 45 degrees. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to the hospital and the vehicles were towed from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Darci Harrison, no age or address reported, was southbound on County Highway 1 near 1300E Road in rural Nokomis when a deer entered the roadway. The front end of Harrison’s vehicle made contact with the deer. No one was injured and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
