Christian County Historical Society and Museum is hosting a quilt show from 11am -2pm. The location is 325 Abe’s Way (auction of Rt. 29 and 49 east side. Admissions will be $5.00 cover charge, $4.00 all quilters guild, $3.00 for 8 and under with a $5.00 entry fee per quilt. The class of Taylorville High School will hold its 75th birthday party and get together at 6p.m. October first at the KC hall, 401 South Walnut Street, Taylorville. Tickets are $20 each and checks are to be sent to Sue Ann Grant, 980 N 1400 East Road, Taylorville Il 62586. In addition to a catered dinner and prizes, there will be a live music and dancing. All class members are welcome to attend either or both events.
