    The Taylorville VFW is hosting a Queen of Hearts drawing every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The drawing happens at 8:00 p.m., and food is available for purchase.

    Taylorville Senior Center Pinochle Games

    The Senior Center in Taylorville has regular pinochle games each week on  Wednesday and Friday starting at 1:00 p.m.  If you used to play and need a refresher course or have never played and need a lesson or two, we have someone here to help you with just that!!!  This is a great way to spend an afternoon as well as meeting new friends. Need transportation to the center?  Well we offer that too!!!  Please call 824-4263 for more details.  The Senior Center is  located at 701 West Adams in Taylorville.  We look forward to seeing you!!!!

    Farmer’s Market

    The annual Farmer’s Market will be every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon on the Taylorville Square. There will be early produce, bedding plants, fresh flowers, baked goods, and craft items. Check out DowntownTaylorville on Facebook for more information.

    Jamie Tolley Concert

    Jamie Tolley will be at the Tower Hill Free Methodist Church 207 Erie St. on Saturday, June 4th at 5 p.m. Jamie Tolley lives in Ripley, WV with his wife and sons, Austin, Jordan and Ryan, and daughter, Lauren. He grew up in West Virginia surrounded by country and bluegrass music. He has played in other groups. Dobro, rhythm guitar and assisted with backup vocals. Son Austin plays piano/keyboard, bass guitar, ukulele and harmonica. Jordan plays the banjo with the younger brother Ryan playing guitar.
