The Stonington American Legion Auxiliary in conjunction with the Taylorville VFW Auxiliary is hosting a benefit run for donations to the Wreaths Across America Campaign. Donations will fund wreaths to be placed on the graves in Camp Butler Cemetery near Springfield in December. The run will be held on August 27th starting at the Taylorville VFW and ending at the Stonington American Legion where there will be food and entertainment after visiting other towns in the area. Registration is 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the VFW in Taylorville (515 N West Ave). Join in the fun while supporting a worthy cause.
