FBI family beekeepers of Illinois
Join us the first Thursday of every month for; educational presentations; warm and casual atmosphere; mentors with tons of experience; hands-on learning. The Taylorville public library will be hosting a painting night teaching different methods on how to paint “The Northern Lights” classic painting, This program is suitable for individuals ages fifteen and older. Chief Wheeler Safe Passage conference.
Chief Wheeler will hold a Safe Passage meeting at the Taylorville Municipal Building in the conference room. The seminar aims to bring public awareness and address bullying around substance abuse. The public is invited to learn about these important topics that affect our community. Taylorville public library will be hosting a preschool lab at 10:30 a.m.for ages three to five. Discover something new each month during the preschool lab. Families are encouraged to explore our monthly topics at our hands-on science and vocabulary station located in the children’s department of the library. Rat Races
The Morrisonville Knights of Columbus and Kitchell Memorial Library are bringing back the Mouse Races in 2023! The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and races begin at 7 p.m. Tickets available at 6th Street Market, Kitchell Memorial Library and from library trustees. Buy early for a discount! The event will provide refreshments!

Taylorville Board of Education
The Taylorville Board of Education will meet in the district office. Agenda includes: Approval of minutes, review and approval of claims, treasurer’s report, consider action on overnight trips, consideration of personnel, recap of strategic planning focus, goals, committee reports, and timeline, second reading and adoption of IASB Press Plus policy updates with administrative procedures, action on the North School Gym water damage emergency plan to remove and replace, closed session minutes for the past six months, approval of destruction of closed session audio tapes older than 18 months, superintendent report, closed session, action on closed session, and adjournment.

Music Bingo
The Stonington American Legion is sponsoring a Music Bingo. Doors open at six, and Music Bingo starts at 7:00 p.m. The will be a $5 admission fee and a cash bar will be available. This event is for those 18 and older. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight. Invite your friends and bring your own snacks if you would like.
