    April Fool’s Day is also a clean-up day at the museum. The community is invited to come out that day for an hour or two and help us perform a good old-fashioned spring cleaning. Plenty of ways you can help while working inside, sweep, dust, clean windows. Those who like working outside can; we will pick up sticks; rake leaves; groom flower beds.     Our popular nature journaling class returns to recording what you see, Use watercolors, paper, and brushes to hear, smell, and feel nature. We will discuss various ways to record your observations and experiment with drawing the signs of spring in the park. Please bring your journal and materials or use ours. The park is about 10 miles straight west of Decatur. Take Old Route 36 past Harristown to Lincoln Memorial Parkway; go south four miles. The park is on the east side of the road.     Be inspired to grow houseplants at “Success with Indoor Plants at Taylorville Public Library.” Andrew Holsinger, Extension horticulture educator, will detail how to create a healthy houseplant environment by selecting the right plants for your indoor space and discuss cultural requirements, maintenance practices, and critical ornamental aspects in growing interior plants.
