Session one of 2023 swim lessons. Swimming lessons for children and adults to learn according to their ability. Ages three to adults are welcome. The swim lessons are 30 min Monday through Friday. Session four for 2023 will have four sessions; June 12-13; June 26- July 7; July 10-21; July 24- August 4. The cost is $35 a week or $50 for two weeks. Kids nine to fifteen are welcomed to participate in the real lifeguard training program. Topics that will be covered in the training are; CPR, First aid, how to get someone out of the water safely and everything in between. The price for the event includes a t-shirt. The Little Theatre favorite and Broadway World award winner Brittany Ambler will return to perform and choreograph in this hilarious Show. The musical surrounds a regular guy named Norbert and his agoraphobic wife, Jeannie, whose marriage feels threatened by Armadillo Acres’ newcomer, the stunning young stripper named Pippi. Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for the GriefShare program held at Calvary Baptist Church, Taylorville. Sessions run from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Upper Room of Calvary Baptist Church at 930 Haner Avenue, Taylorville.  To register or for questions, call the church office 217-824-2324 or by email at calvary@cbctaylorville.com, There is no fee for attendance which will include a workbook and light refreshments.
