Manners Park Afternoon Tree Walk

Take an afternoon tree walk with Andrew Holsinger, Extension horticulture educator and Christian County Master Gardener at Manners Park, the oldest and largest park in Taylorville, full of rich history and a variety of trees, some unique and planted by different organizations and volunteers. Tour the park, learn about what trees you can utilize in the landscape, and avoid the pitfalls of planting a tree at the wrong site. The tour group will meet outside the Manners Park Dining Hall. This program is FREE and open to the public. Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for walking on and off paths. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please contact Andrew Holsinger at aholsing@illinois.edu.
