HARVEL, Ill. — The Springfield FBI office is currently investigating an act of arson at a pipeline repair site in Harvel, Ill. On Apr. 21, someone used an excavator to destroy a trailer and sandblaster before setting the excavator and a semi-tractor trailer on fire, resulting in several hundred thousand dollars of damage. The pipeline maintenance contractor is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
