(PANA) — Students in Washington Elementary School, Pana, had a “Pennies for the Caboose” campaign at the end of the school year. Students brought in their change for the giant jug and collected $106.66 to help with the expenses of moving the Union Pacific caboose from north of Indianapolis, Ind. to Pana. As today’s newspaper goes to press, it is anticipated the caboose is arriving in Pana. At right, the caboose was loaded on a flatbed truck on Wednesday and transported early this morning.
