Bennett Douglas Simpson is celebrating his third birthday today, Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Bennett is the son of Garrett and Amanda Simpson. His grandparents are Tammy Valencia of Springfield, Donna and the late Marshall Douglas Lowe of Taylorville, Kip Jordan of Springfield, and Robert Simpson of Pana. Bennett’s great-grandparents include Sharon and the late Dave Dillon of Springfield, Fred and Dorothy Durbin of Taylorville, Jesse and the late Alice Simpson of Taylorville, the late Pat Baughman of Springfield, and the late Ruth and Wayne Glasscock of Springfield. Bennett has a brother, Isaac, who is six weeks old, and a sister, Nora Beth, who is seven. He will celebrate his golden birthday at home with his family.
