Howard William “Bill” Luttrell

June 5, 1941 — February 5, 2023

Howard William “Bill” Luttrell was born June 5, 1941 in Palmer, Ill. and grew up in Taylorville, Ill. On December 20, 1975, he married his loving wife, Elizabeth “Beti”, in Stonington, Ill.

Bill worked as a redi-mix driver and plant manager with Kennedy’s, RadCo and PBI and had belonged to the Teamsters. He was gifted at woodworking and carving. He also enjoyed painting. He loved time with his family and friends. Bill and Beti had recently moved to Hollister, Mo., from Fargo, N.D.

Bill passed away on February 5, 2023 in Branson, Mo. at the age of 81. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Luttrell; infant sisters, Arlene and Dorothy Mae Luttrell; sister, Marge Cahoon; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Rose Luttrell, Sr.; sister, Linda Buracher; and one granddaughter, Jessica Luttrell.

Bill is survived by his wife, Beti Luttrell of Hollister; son, James D. Luttrell of Nokomis, Ill; daughter Connie Marie Marley and husband George of Nokomis; step-son, Jerry Selzer and wife Ann of Fargo; step-daughter, Mary Beth Ramirez and husband Homer of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Mary Ellen Dean of Pana, Ill; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
