GREENVILLE — The Pana Panthers fought hard against the Comets on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 to come out on top in a 55-53 victory over Greenville.
This was Pana’s fourth straight win, and pushed their record for the season to 18-10. The Panthers have put out a rather strong offensive showing in those four games, averaging 59.5 points in all four games.
On Tuesday, the two teams started the night strong and fierce. By the end of the first quarter, they were tied with 14 points each. Coming into halftime, the Comets had managed to edge into the lead over Pana with a 29-26 score. Greenville maintained that lead into the third quarter, holding the Panthers at bay with a 41-35 game.
The Panthers surged in the last quarter of the game, fighting back strong to finish 55-53 over the Comets.
Senior player Cash Lynch was on fire for the whole game, earning an astounding 34 points all on his own. Junior player Eian Vaughn was the second highest corer of the night with 8 points, while fellow senior Madyx Angel was the third highest scorer with 7. Sophomore Easton Malisia rounded out the game with 6 points.
