DEATH AND CLAIM NOTICE

Estate of Eric E. Denton, Deceased, No. 2026PR19

Notice is hereby given of the death of the above and that Letters of Office were issued February 23, 2026, to Anne Marie Chappelear.

Notice is further given that the estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under 28-4 of the Probate Act of 1975 [755 ILCS 5/28-4(1992 State Bar Edition)], any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by filing a petition to terminate with the Circuit Clerk.

The Independent Executor’s attorneys of record are Handegan Law Office, P.O. Box 467, 101 South State Street, Suite 102, Decatur, Illinois, 62525-0467. Claims against the Estate may be filed in the Office of the Circuit Clerk, Christian County Courthouse, 101 S. Main Street, Taylorville, Illinois 62568 on or before September 11, 2026. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the court must be mailed or delivered by the claimant to the Independent Executor and to her attorneys of record within ten (10) days after it has been filed. Furthermore, the claimant shall file with the court proof of any required mailing or delivery of copies.
