PANA — Congratulations Officer Richard Rahar, on your retirement from Pana PD, after 28 years of service to the City of Pana. Richard began his career March 2, 1998, and retired yesterday March 1, 2026. Richard served in many areas within the department including Patrol Officer, Inspector with Central Illinois Enforcement Group, Master Firearms Instructor, Evidence Custodian, and Police Benevolence Union President. Pana Police Department extends a hearty thank you to Richard, his wife Chrissy, and his entire family for the many years of service and sacrifice for the citizens of Pana. He will be missed.
