CHICAGO — It was a great weekend for the Christian County Farm Bureau in Chicago at the 2025 IAA Annual Meeting!
On Saturday, Bureau representatives were fortunate to be joined at their County Dinner by their Adopted Legislator, and Illinois Chairwoman of the House Agriculture Committee, State Representative Sonya Harper! It was great to catch up with her and communicate on issues important to agriculture!
Then Sunday morning, the Bureau Young Ag Leaders were recognized for the most outstanding Young Leader Program for Membership Group Three for their Tractor Treat event!
Later on Sunday, the Bureau was recognized for a New Horizon Award in Membership Group Three for their collaborative project with the Taylorville FFA Chapter and Tommy TV! The New Horizon award highlights new and innovative programs. Additionally, they were also recognized for a bronze award in the area of Membership Engagement and Outreach for their involvement in the county fair!
