Sara Brown of Taylorville married Gavin Norris, also of Taylorville, on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony was held at the Christian County Courthouse, conducted by Judge Christopher Hantla. The double ring ceremony was short and sweet. Gavin and Sara will be embarking on new adventures with their four children: Sebastian, Benjamin, Anthony, and Evalynne in the U.S. Air Force very soon. This informal service was a prelude to a larger event with family and friends to be held at a later date. The bride is the daughter of Leyna Johnson and Josh Brown of Taylorville. Her grandparents are Kim and Bob Brown of Stonington, and Bonnie Collingwood. The bride graduated from Taylorville high school and is a full time stay at home mom. The groom is the son of Cassidy Weller and Chris Norris of Taylorville. His grandparents are Rose Doubles and the late Danny Younker of Stonington, Jaylene Norris of St. Louis, and Mike Norris of Edinburg. The groom graduated from Taylorville high school and works at T&R Bar & Grill.
